Mr. Oezcan, please briefly introduce SIBIRGroup AG.

When Swiss values meet innovative technology, high-quality household appliances from SIBIR are the result. And when these break down, SIBIR’s all-brand service reliably gets defective devices up and running again. But let’s rewind: the traditional Swiss company SIBIRGroup AG was founded after the Second World War and set innovation standards in the refrigeration sector across Europe. Today, SIBIR not only sells kitchen and laundry room products, but also offers corporate and private customers an all-brand repair service of the utmost quality. Its headquarters are in Spreitenbach. In addition to around a dozen service centres, SIBIR also has branches in St. Gallen, Sargans, Contone and Pully. About 110 people currently work for SIBIR.

We’ve been providing logistics services for the SIBIRGroup for over 20 years. Which of these are important to you?

We’ve actually been working with Planzer and its subsidiary Röösli very successfully for over 20 years now. The Planzer Group is a highly reliable logistics partner that plays a crucial role in our supply chain. We use its warehousing, distribution and transport management services, among others. Thanks to its expertise and efficient processes, we are able to deliver our products to our customers on time and in perfect condition.

What are the key factors for the success of our partnership?

The long-standing, successful partnership between SIBIR and Planzer/Röösli is based on several key factors: firstly, we share the same values such as quality, reliability and customer satisfaction. Planzer and Röösli understand our logistics needs and challenges and provide tailored solutions. Secondly, their flexibility and responsiveness that allow us to adapt to the current market requirements. You were the victim of a cyberattack and your system was paralysed. How did we assist the SIBIRGroup during this emergency?

During this extraordinary emergency, the people in charge at Planzer and Röösli responded extremely quickly. They provided us with the warehouse data and access to the Planzer portal, allowing us to estimate our inventory and resume operations as quickly as possible. It’s important to note that the cyberattack destroyed all our systems and data. We had to gradually reinstate customer data and information, rebuild the infrastructure systems and gradually increase the operating capacity. The Planzer Group played a vital role in minimising the impact of this incident. Thanks to its proactive support and expertise, we were able to successfully overcome the crisis.
